Design & Product Development
Our product managers are as passionate about cycling as they are about the products they design; they are racers, dirt jumpers, freeriders, BMXers, commuters, and roadies who bring with them a diverse industry background from retail sales to manufacturing to competition.
The design team relies heavily on input from our pro athletes, and involves them in the development of new designs and technologies. Designs are tested, modified and perfected to ensure they will hold up in real world conditions. Whether it’s our 5-Star rated (nsmb.com) World Cup DH race bike, or our extensive line of pavement and commuter bikes, the attention to detail in every Norco bike is unmatched.
International Production
For overseas production and assembly, Norco has partnered with some of the world’s premiere manufacturers. We only work with companies that meet the highest standards for quality, progressive manufacturing techniques, and on-time delivery.
When we select vendors, we choose only the best-in-class component makers and brands to ensure that every part on a Norco bike meets our quality standards. We are continually testing components from potential vendors on our concept bikes and make our final selection based on performance, ease of assembly, reliability, and consumer demand.
Quality Control
At Norco we work closely with our vendors to ensure they understand and comply with our expectations for quality and consistency. We follow methodical frame engineering protocol and perform strict component audits, as well as detailed compatibility and compliance checks throughout product development and production. Frequent vendor quality control audits, stringent internal checklists, and a passion to do things right, give our dealers and distributors the confidence to know that every Norco bike they order will be a product their customers can depend on for years.
