These bikes would be built for all mountain style BC riding, medium travel and weight for climbing but still ready for any technical decending, just not for big jumps.
Lighter duty bikes built for all mountain, enduro XC, 24Hr style racing or just back country trail riding. No jumping or extreme riding.
The following are the latest updates of specs for this particular model. Please note however, these specs are subject to change at anytime.

"If efficiency were the only factor demanding attention, it would be fairly simple. During this last decade, the cycling sport has evolved from an endurance sport into a power-endurance sport. The influence of biomechanic and aerodynamic research is gaining importance. The goal is to find a cycling position in which power is maximally converted into motion."

I brought it to a bike park the second time I ever rode it to see what it could take, and put it this way, I started with 12 foot drops. props to Norco!
