New Frame Designs For 2009

The 2009 Team DH and Aline models feature a curved hydraformed downtube. This advancement over the previous platform allows for a both a stiffer and stronger frame. Adding concavity to the tube design drastically improves front tire clearance and shifts the center of gravity lower, to a more stable position. Whether you are freeriding with friends, hitting the park or racing DH, the benefits of this new platform will create both a more stable bike and stronger frame.

headtube

For 2009, many Norco frame sets utilize a 1.5”-1.125” integrated headset. This feature is important in keeping the front end low and maneuverable. Through the integrated headset and forged headtube the front of the bike is stiffer and allows for a lower stack height than traditional 1.125” headtubes.

For 2009 many Norco suspension frames feature an improved seatstay design. Forged stay clevis', improved tubing and additional brake gussets make these frames stronger and stiffer than ever.
