Here is what probably will be the oldest Norco to be submitted to your site., my vintage Norco ELIMINATOR !! Yes, it's a 26 inch frame, vibrant orange with matching seat and grips, and to the best of my knowledge all original except for the orange stickers on chainguard and rear fender.
From the style of parts, i'll date it anywhere from 1966 up to 1980. I've no definitive way of telling an exact year of manufacture, as general information regarding vintage norco bikes is virtually non-existant.
So, if you have any old timers still working at the company, have them take a look-see and try to put a year to this bad-boy.
Meanwhile, i'll keep on riding in style.

Let's just start off by saying I love my Norco Six! It's badass and has been with me every step of the way, from upper B line to lower A line. I recently took the beast (my pet name for my fab bike) out for a long-deserved jaunt to Burnaby Mountain. The bus driver at the skytrain station was a jerk but hey, we wanted to ride so we went with it. We started off nice and easy, before we hit Nicole's for some black diamond action. Then we got to this one part that I tend to have trouble with, where there's a tight turn, a bridge, and then another tight turn. My approach was perfect, but unfortunately, the bridge was slippery and in my attempts to stabilize my tires I hit the brakes a little too hard. As a result, I did a flip over the handlebars and my precious bike landed on top of me, the handlebars sticking me right in my right abdomen. Of course I hobbled up and checked on my bike, which was totally fine, and then proceeded to scream in pain. Needless to say, I ended up in the hospital the next day with severe muscle bruises, a nasty concussion, bruised internal organs, and a nearly ruptured spleen. But the beast didn't have a single scratch. A perfect ride.
