Fluid Forma 7.2 Wins Bicycling Editors’ Choice Award
April 27, 2016
The Norco Fluid Forma 7.2 has been honored by Bicycling Magazine with a prestigious 2016 Editors’ Choice Award.
This year’s testing started with over 100 nominations, and the Fluid was one of only 20 mountain bikes – and two mountain bikes under $2,500 – to receive an award. This women’s specific trail bike is designed around 650B-wheels and features 120mm trail-tuned A.R.T. suspension, a tapered head tube and a 2×10 Shimano drivetrain.
The Fluid’s combination of performance and value helped it rise above the rest of this year’s fierce competition, with editors praising it for being “on par with much more expensive bikes” that were tested.

From Bicycling Magazine:
“Full-suspension bikes that are priced under $2,000 can be a little dicey—they’re often heavy, with basic components and crappy suspension. Which is why we were so impressed with the Norco Fluid Forma 7.2: This $1,775 USD women’s bike didn’t feel like it held our testers back on tough trails. “The traction is really, really good for an entry-level bike: on par with much more expensive bikes I’ve ridden,” noted one tester. The suspension was pleasantly capable on descents and climbs alike. “I felt smooth and consistent, especially in the uphill rock gardens that I expected to be a big challenge,” wrote another. We’d recommend the Fluid Forma to any woman looking to get into the sport—it offers a fun, cushy ride at a price that’s much more accessible than most.”
