MEDIA SHARE FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE ALL-NEW RANGE CARBON

Since Norco launched the all-new Range Carbon in February, mountain bike media from all over the globe have begun putting the bike through its paces.
Read some of their first impressions of the Range Carbon below, and click the logos to check out the full articles.
“Norco’s new A.R.T. suspension platform offers a more progressive suspension curve than the previous generation Range. This allowed me to achieve a very supple initial stroke with predictable supportive ramp-up right out of the box. In combination with the big wheels this delivered great traction under braking and through chattery corners. And, as a bonus, the bike is dead quiet.”
“The Range has what can best be described as ‘sneaky speed’ – it’s similar to what happens when you rent or borrow a car that’s smoother and more powerful than what you typically drive, and all of a sudden you look down and you’re doing 100mph.”
“The bike pumped when I wanted it to pump, the bike turned when I wanted it to turn, and it handled everything that came up on me. I never felt bottom on either end of the suspension, but the travel rings indicated otherwise.”
“So far the Range’s cornering ability has impressed me most; wide corners, flat corners, bermed corners and tight corners. This bike loves them.”
“The Range pedaled uphill well, traversed rough terrain with composure, and made the descent a worry-free fun fest.”
“There’s no denying that the Range 29er feels like a big bike, but the overall wheelbase isn’t excessive (1,187mm for the medium), so an aggressive rider can still make this rig dance through the turns.”
