Racing in her home state of Washington on the second stop of the Pro GRT, Jill Kintner won both in qualifying and the final by a solid margin over an international field.

The Dry Hill venue in Port Angeles was anything but, as rain pounded the trails and created a physical and rutty DH course for the over 540 competitors.

“It was pretty wild racing out there in the pouring rain and mud, but luckily I know Port Angeles so well that I wasn’t phased by the conditions. It’s a comfy vibe out there being that this is my home race, so it felt like any other day riding. My time was solid, even though it felt tad squirmy, but I kept my bike pointed in the right direction, and that was enough to take another win. Big thanks to the guys at Fox and Shimano for dealing with muddy bikes and keeping everything working.” – Jill Kintner
