    August 21, 2017

Norco athletes Adrien Loron and Jill Kintner have proven themselves to be the most dominant and versatile riders in the world by winning the overall titles of King and Queen of Crankworx.

Both Loron and Kintner came to Crankworx Whistler as the points leaders in the race to be named King and Queen of Crankworx, and followed up their strong performances in Rotorua, Les Gets and Innsbruck with podiums in almost every event they entered in Whistler.

After leading the points race coming into Whistler in the past two years before losing out on the final round, it was emotional see Loron finally find redemption and win the King of Crankworx title. An unexpected win in the Air DH where he had placed 11th the year before and a well-earned Dual Speed & Style win cemented his lead.

For Kintner, coming in as the reigning Queen of Crankworx, the pressure was on to succeed, but she retained her focus and proved once again what a well-rounded professional she is.

It is no small feat to stay fit, focused and uninjured from the start of the season in March in Rotorua, all the way through until the end of August. Loron and Kintner will be taking home $25,000 each for their consistent winning ways throughout the season.

The Norco Aurum, Range, Sight, Optic and Rampage were the trusty steeds that got Loron and Kintner through all four stops on the World Tour.
