Singletrack’s first look at the Sight A9.2
October 2, 2017
Completely redesigned for 2018, with a new frame, updated geometry and, for the first time, the choice between 650b or 29” wheels, the Sight Aluminum captured the attention of Singletrack Magazine.
Among other things, they were impressed by the clean design and quality suspension on a bike with such a tantalizing price point. See below for some excerpts from their first look piece on the A 9.2 model of the do-it-all Sight platform. We look forward to their full review which will be published in Issue 115 of the magazine.
“With 130/140mm travel, a capable parts spec and revised geometry, the 2018 Sight looks very good on paper.”
“Filling out the range for 2018 and addressing a larger price bracket, the Sight has been crafted out of alloy too, and promises the same suspension performance and handling as the carbon fibre models, albeit at a much more tantalising price point.”
“Norco has dumped plenty of coin into the suspension on the Sight A9.2, including a Charger damper-equipped Pike RC fork up front.”
The Sight is our versatile trail killer. With longer, lower and slacker All-Mountain geometry, A.R.T Suspension with updated kinematics for improved performance, and a parts kit that makes the bike feel like a custom build right out of the box, the Sight is the ideal accomplice on any aggressive All-Mountain ride. Available in a carbon and aluminum version and with 29″ and 650b wheels, there’s a model for every size and budget.
An in-depth review of the bike and its performance will appear in Issue 115 of Singletrack Magazine.
