“Representing Canada is always such an honor and special feeling, and I’m so excited to do so at my first major games this April at the Commonwealth Games. This is a huge development opportunity for me and I also believe I have the potential for a solid result. Whatever happens, it will be an unforgettable experience! I’m so grateful to Norco Bicycles for the incredible support over the last 6 years and am really looking forward to this season and all the challenges and opportunities ahead, starting with the CG.” – Haley Smith

Haley’s hard work, positive mindset and overwhelming passion for the sport have already lead to major success in her career as an elite athlete. An incredible 3rd place at the Canadian National Championships – XCO, a 1st place at the Canada Cup XCO at Horseshoe Resort and a fantastic 16th place at the UCI MTB World Championships in Cairn, Australia are only a few of Haley’s milestones of the past year.

Alongside Haley, we’re also thrilled to mention that reigning Canadian National Champion in XCO and Norco Factory Team athlete, Peter Disera, earned himself a spot as the alternate male in the Men’s Mountain Bike category.
