What Norco bikes do you ride?
DH Team for the big world cup tracks, Shore One for some tighter British style tracks, Fluid for just getting out there for a ride, 250 for dirt jumping and a CRR for the big dirty road rides.

Who are some of the most important and influential people in your life and career?
Most important are my family and close friends. When I was growing up I would have been influents by the likes of 5 times motocross world champion Joel Smets and even big Steve Peat, now that I'm a bit older I just focus on doing my own thing.

Do you have any hobbies outside of cycling? If so what?
I don't tend to wonder to far away from wheels, dirt or speed so anything that involves one of the three and I'm a happy child, the usual motocross, mini bikes etc. I served my time as a carpenter when I left school and I guess I still enjoy a bit of carpentry work from time to time.

Where is your favorite Place to Ride?
For sick tracks I have a few places in mind out in Europe but a great place to ride and have fun is not just about the tracks, so I'll go with the Whistler area, you can't go to far wrong for a good atmosphere and some good craic on the trails.

Where's your favourite place to travel?
I really like Vancouver and the Rocky Mountains.

What would you list as a career highlight?
It could nearly have been Schladming 09 after qualifying 8th but as I didn't keep it together I'm going with Schladming 07 where I was 10th.

What has been your best riding experience?
Hard to narrow it down to just one but the World Champs in Lugano sticks in mind. I can remember being very excited over that track and unable to stop myself from doing run after run when probably I should have been resting.

And the worst?
Flying home from Portugal on the same day that I left to go there but only with a dislocated collar bone on the way home.

What band or song have you been listening to the most lately?
Rob Zombie has been flat out this last view months, it's inspired me so much that I actually went out and bought a sound system for my van.

What are your biggest strengths on the bike?
Steep and technical

What's your best idea of having good time?
Having the craic with the boys after a good days action of riding downhill, motocross or whatever, just chilling and looking back on the great day you have had.

What first got you into riding?
My dad used to race motocross so he got me and my brother into that which evolved into us racing bikes.

What do you enjoy most about riding for Norco?
So far it's the people that work for the company, everyone has been so helpful which shows what they are passionate about.

Key goals for 2010?
To get my new bike set up as well as possible and be up to speed for the first World Cup in May, most of the World Cups tracks this year should suit me really well so I am hoping for a good season and want to be consistently inside the top 10.
