Rider Bio
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I love riding North Shore style trail with super steep rock, jumps, sweet single track and everything mountain bike. I teach a trail building course for Capilano University MBO program and Run a company that advocates, lobby’s, designs and constructs bike parks and trails of all kinds. When not on my bike I like to kick it doing long trail rides on my moto, surf when possible and braap the powdy white stuff in the mountains on my sled.
What has been your best riding experience so far? Any career highlights?
Hard to put it to one… I would say that all of my rideguide experiences have been the highlight of my career.
Where is your favorite place to ride, and what bike would you take?
Whistler is awesome. The resort, municipal and club trails are amazing and it is pretty freeking cool to be there.
What is your favorite thing to do on a bike?
Lose track of the world and groove trail fast!
What is your first memory of riding? What first got you into riding?
My dad pushing me fast enough to ride without training wheels….Ever since then it has always been handle bars
When you’re not biking what are you usually doing?
Working on bike parks or trails while developing my business. I am also surfing when possible, trail riding on moto, sledding and snowboarding in the mountains or curling.
What are your goals for the next year or so?
Completion of several bike parks, build out of a couple downhill trails and the digging of a couple super tight and tech jump lines. I am also working on a couple of new tricks, some new photos and hopefully a couple of video segments.
What song on your iPod gets you pumped to ride right now?
Woman – Wolf Mother
What would your perfect day look like?
Morning latte and surf, brunch burrito and a afternoon of Mountain bike riding, big ‘ol steak supper, ride video and bed in fleece sheets…
