Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I have been racing downhill for around 6 years and want to continue getting faster and faster each year. I will be attending the University of British Columbia to study Engineering in the fall of 2012.
What has been your best riding experience so far? Any career highlights?
My best experience would be my 2010 season, I won the Junior Downhill Canada Cup Overall and was 2nd at Nationals.
Where is your favorite place to ride, and what bike would you take?
Mt Prevost, Vancouver Island has some of the best downhill trails I’ve ever ridden. Only bike for the job is a Norco Aurum.
What is your favorite thing to do on a bike?
Racing downhill.
What is your first memory of riding? What first got you into riding?
Watching the World Cup in 2001 at Grouse Mountain was the first time I saw downhill racing at a high level, I’ve been hooked ever since.
When you’re not biking what are you usually doing?
Studying, training or skiing.
What are your goals for the next year or so?
After not racing the 2011 season I want to be back at full speed by the start of the 2012 season.
What song on your iPod gets you pumped to ride right now?
Alex Clare- Too Close

Any day is perfect when I get out on my bike.
