Rider Bio
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I love progression, or another word might be creativity. I enjoy putting things out into the world that are different or unique; that is what has kept me charged as a pro for 15 years!

What has been your best riding experience so far? Any career highlights?
Best riding experiences require a lot of key ingredients. For me, if you can combine a new trail, in a stunning environment, on a fun bike, with good friends, then that’s a great riding experience, hard to categorize best though ;-) Career highlights might include, self producing three films, working with Cirque du Soleil, and organizing and embarking on two national school presentation tours.

Where is your favorite place to ride, and what bike would you take?
Jericho beach with my Manifesto. Whitehorse Yukon with a Range or Revolver.

What is your favorite thing to do on a bike?
I actually have a weird fascination with technical single-track climbs. But my favorite thing is riding along endless interconnecting logs on the beach.

What is your first memory of riding? What first got you into riding?
Skids and wheelies

When you’re not biking what are you usually doing?
Teaching yoga, and working with clients in my role model life coaching business. Recreationally speaking, drinking tea with my wife, woodworking, or reading books.

What are your goals for the next year or so?
To bring a new enthusiasm to my trials shows offerings. To bring and offer challenge and a call to authentic action to students at my school presentations. To increase the number of Ride & Reach Retreats I offer. To film and release a Yoga for Cyclists DVD To grow and promote my Integral Coaching® business for those who face challenge in their role modelship roles.

What song on your iPod gets you pumped to ride right now?
Been grooving on the The Roots album “How I got Over”

What would your perfect day look like?
A day that is full of creative contribution and flow, both on and off the bike, mixed with a couple good cups of tea and fresh home made meals.
