Rider Bio
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I have been Mtountain biking for 6 years, it's my life and I love it! My favorite thing to do on my bike is technical tricks and sending large jumps, drops, and sometimes even the curb in front of my house. I have a younger brother, older sister and two awesome parents.
What has been your best riding experience so far? Any career highlights?
My best riding experience so far was when I got 4th place at Crankworx in the slopestyle comp in 2010. It was the coolest feeling that my biking has ever given me.
Where is your favorite place to ride, and what bike would you take?
My favorite place to ride is Woodward west and I would bring my BMX for the indoor park, and my Norco Rampage hardtail for the outdoor jumps!
What is your favorite thing to do on a bike?
My favorite thing to do us definitely a double tail whip second would be a big stretched out downside tail whip over a really big jump.
What is your first memory of riding? What first got you into riding?
My first memory of riding was when my friends and I found a dirt pile across the street from my house and turned it into a play ground for our bikes. We had competitions that who ever could over shoot the jump the furthest won. I got second...
When you’re not biking what are you usually doing?
When I'm not riding my bike I am either installing hardwood flooring with my dad, working out at the gym, in the kitchen cooking, skiing, playing my guitar or sleeping!
What are your goals for the next year or so?
My goals for next year is to take part in ever contest posible and get top 10 in every one, at least 3 podiums and win at least one major FMB event. A longer term goal is to make Mt. Biking my career for as long as I can.
What song on your iPod gets you pumped to rideright now?
Deffinatly any rise against song gets me pumped to ride my bike! Although I don't usually ride with Music I like to hear the wind rushing past me while I'm in the air and listening to the sound of my rear wheel clicking around smoothly behind me.
What would your perfect day look like?
If I could have a perfect day it would start out with sleeping in till 9:00, going to Tim hortans for an XL Carmel latte and a toasted maple cinnamon bagle. After breakfast I would work on my bikes for a while getting them super dialed before heading out to the dirt jumps. I'd ride till about 5:00 then go chill out on a beach with my girl friend and a few drinks while eating sushi and watching the sunset!
