The Fluid VLT integrates state of the art electric mountain bike technology seamlessly into its thoughtfully-designed aluminum frame, making it easy to ride, simple to operate, and just the bike you need to ride at the level you want, in the time that you have.

Norco’s evolved trail bike geometry creates a balanced riding position for both climbing and descending. The modern rider cockpit and steering characteristics increase confidence on the trails and are designed to maximize the added climbing punch provided by the Shimano STEPS drive unit and improved traction and handling performance of the large tires. To ensure all these upgrades don't get you in over your head, we added the highest capacity batteries possible, so you get to say when your ride is done – not your battery life.

Fully integrated alloy E-MTB frame

The Fluid VLT's sleek, custom-formed aluminum frame features thru-axle dropouts, internal cable routing and a perfectly integrated battery within the downtube, creating a clean design and performance that will evolve with riders’ needs.

Modern MTB fit and handling

The Fluid VLT rides just like a modern mountain bike, with a rider cockpit optimized for fast, efficient climbs and confident descents, ensuring the bike goes exactly where you want it to in technical terrain.

E-MTB rated suspension

The Fluid VLT features suspension forks from RockShox and SR Suntour with Boost-spaced 15 mm thru-axles for increased stiffness and precision. We chose models that are rated for e-mountain bike use so can go wherever you need to go in comfort, confidence and control.

More traction, more control

We spec'd the Fluid VLT with 27.5 x 2.6” tires to provide maximum grip, control and excellent handling performance, and we even made space for up to 2.8s. Combined with powerful 200mm hydraulic disc brakes, the Fluid VLT's traction will give you the go you want and the stop you need.

SHIMANO STEPS – All the Power You Need

Designed to withstand the extreme demands of e-mountain biking, the best-in-class Shimano STEPS E8000 and E7000 drive units will extend your ride and give you the push you need to get through the tough stuff. The protected seat tube charging port allows easy access and quick charging of the 500 to 630Wh batteries, which we've protected from the elements so you can ride further in any conditions.

Why E-Mountain Bikes?

Ask someone who likes fun if they want to have more fun. The answer is pretty much always yes. That’s why we built this bike. The Fluid VLT means even more fun out on the trail, and quite frankly, who wouldn’t want that?!

Does the bike have a throttle?

No, the Fluid VLT doesn’t have a throttle. It’s a trail bike with just a bit of extra boost. The Shimano E8000 drive unit assists you as you pedal, giving you the natural feel of riding a non-assist mountain bike. You can switch between three modes, Boost, Trail and Eco, offering different levels of pedal assist. When you stop pedalling, the motor assistance stops. It’s just that simple!

Can i remove the battery?

No, the Fluid VLT’s battery is only to be removed by a certified Norco dealer. There is no need to remove the battery from the frame as you can conveniently charge it through the charging port on the seat tube. We opted to integrate the battery into the frame as it allows us to design a much stronger, stiffer and lighter frame.
