Norco has learned that there is the possibility of a crack developing at the joint where the top tube meets the down tube. See attached photograph "A" depicting a 2011 Havoc frame.

WARNING: If the crack grows large enough, the top tube could separate from the down tube while riding, resulting in loss of control of the bicycle and an accident. You could sustain severe personal injuries or death in a bicycle accident.

All 2011 Havoc frames are covered by this recall. The frames affected by this program can be identified by the serial number stamped on the bottom of the bottom bracket.

The serial number is written in the format:

K10DQ _ _ _ _ _;
K10FQ _ _ _ _ _;
K10IQ _ _ _ _ _;
K10KQ _ _ _ _ _;
P11B _ _ _ _ ;
P10F _ _ _ _;
P10K _ _ _ _ _.

Year: The first two digits indicate year of production. All frames starting with "K10", "P10", “K11", or “P11” are subject to this recall. See the attached photographs "B" depicting the location of serial number.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: Immediately stop the use of your bicycle equipped with a 2011 Havoc frame and bring your bicycle to an authorized Norco retailer. The retailer will replace the frame at no charge to you.
