“The Bear Mountain track is one of our best Canada Cup courses. It is a blast to ride, with steep climbs, a great mix of flowy and techy single-track and elevation gain to make you work.
The lap starts off with a savage climb up the golf cart path and to the top of the course. You hit the first piece of single-track absolutely pinned and you have to hold it together. Next you make your way to the top of the flow track where you have an awesome flowy descent before the climb up to Chainsaw. You start on Chainsaw then dip left to get on the most fun decent of the track and to the bottom of the course before making your way back up on a mix of single-track and gravel.
The highlight of the course for me is the final descent to the bottom of the course, just so much fun. When you are watching the video, see if you can keep track of all the handlebar controls I am using, I have my SRAM AXS dropper set up on my left, AXS shifter on my right and dual lockout also on my right. It is wild all the adjustments you are making to the bike to squeeze as much speed as possible around the course."
