Heralded as a “trail killer,” the 2015 Norco Sight Carbon 7.1 has been awarded the prestigious Design and Innovation Award
by Enduro Mountain Bike Magazine.
Looking to recognize the best mountain bike products on the market for 2015, Enduro Mag travelled to South Tyrol, Italy, with a panel of 25 of the world’s best riders, engineers, designers, and marketing experts to put bikes to the test.
Against stiff competition in the Trail Bike category, the Sight Carbon 7.1 was awarded the DI.A and praised for its light carbon frame and aggressive geometry.
“Performing like a much bigger bike, the Norco make use of every millimeter of its travel, demonstrating outstanding performance on the trail.”
Evaluations were rigorous and included a dozen criteria, including innovation, performance, quality, efficiency, and workmanship.
From Enduro Mountain Bike Magazine:
“Trail Killer – these two words best describe the ride of the Norco Sight, and might even be the reason for the “Killer B” nickname which the Canadians gave their 140mm trail bike. Performing like a much bigger bike, the Norco make use of every millimeter of its travel, demonstrating outstanding performance on the trail. Even in the most demanding terrain the potent suspension and rugged build keep everything in full control so the rider can really get on the gas! The combination of the light carbon frame, aggressive geometry, and robust parts really works and underscores the fact that you can’t define a bike’s optimum type of use by its suspension travel. Chapeau, Norco!”
