Bike to Work Week Kick-Off in Metro Vancouver
October 23, 2017
There are plenty of reasons why you should give bike commuting a try. It’s better for the environment, cheaper than maintaining a car and a good way to include exercise in your daily routine. Most importantly, it’s a lot of fun!
Hub Cycling organizes Bike to Work Week twice a year to advocate for safer cycling infrastructure in Metro Vancouver. From October 23 to October 29, you’re invited to celebrate bike commuting. Visit one of the 45 celebration stations across the city and win great prizes. With all the support during Bike to Work Week, it is the easiest time of year to break the habit of using your car to get to work.
As a company of avid cyclists, Norco Bicycles is proud to support this event. We’ll have five Norco celebration stations throughout the week encouraging both new and experienced bike commuters to ride to work. Come by for snacks, free tune-ups and prize draws throughout the week.
Norco Bicycles-supported BTWW stations:
Monday, October 23: Oceanic Plaza Lunch Hour Party 12-2pm
Tuesday, October 24: Terminal and Quebec 4-6pm
Wednesday, October 25: King Edward Station 4-6pm
Thursday, October 26: Dunsmuir and Richards 4-6pm
Friday, October 27: Wrap-up event at Olympic Village 4-6pm
