Norco Sight 29 Excels in Bike Magazine’s 2018 Bible of Bike Tests
January 4, 2018
The 29-inch wheeled Norco Sight C2 was recently tested and reviewed in Bike Magazine’s 2018 Bible of Bike Tests and excelled at every level. Calling it their “favorite bike of the test so far”, test riders Ryan Palmer, Travis Engel and Jonathon Weber were stunned by the bike’s all-rounder capabilities, smart spec and controlled ride feel.
Going strong into its ninth year, Bike Magazine’s Bible of Bike Tests is considered to be one of the most informed, extensive and trusted collections of reviews in mountain biking. A crew of nine riders tested the bikes in Marquette, Michigan, where a diverse network of techy climbs, chunky rock gardens and smooth singletrack served as the perfect location to thoroughly assess multiple bikes per day.
“The 29-inch-wheeled Sight was one of my favorite bikes in 2017, which is why the 130/140-millimeter-travel bike went on this year’s list of Bible must-haves.”
“A true all-rounder in every sense, the Sight does everything well.”
“It doesn’t really matter what trail the Sight is on. It is impressive everywhere.”
“…what really makes the Sight hit the bullseye is Norco’s attention to detail.”
“As a descender, the bike is predictable and controlled. It uses its travel well, with a supple feel up top and an even ramp with plenty of bottom-out support. It’s ideal for aggressive trail and all-mountain riders who love jump lines as much as natural tech and all-day epics.”
Bike Magazine presented their findings in a short video. Watch it to see what the test riders say about the Sight’s ride feel, specs and versatile capabilities.
