BIKE CHECK: MTB News takes a closer look at Caro Gehrig’s Norco Range 29er Enduro rig
June 11, 2018
Norco Twins Racings’ Caro and Anita Gehrig compete against the world’s best at the Enduro World Series. To race for podium positions and tackle the roughest and most demanding terrain, the twins rely on their Norco Range 29er. MTB News took a closer look at Caro’s race weapon at the third stop of the Enduro World Series in Olargues, France.
Read on for some of the insights on bike spec and setup:
“With the Norco Range, we have the ideal weapon to compete in long and hard EWS races. I was looking forward to switching back to 29” wheels as the bigger wheels are simply faster and better suited for my riding style.”
“I usually change very little when it comes to my setup. The EWS stages in a race can be as different as day and night, so I believe it’s better to have a good setup for everything you’re used to.”
“The Praxis Works Lyft cranks combine rigidity and lightweight like no other crank.”
“The DT Swiss 1501 Spline One wheels can be counted on in the roughest terrain and are the number 1 choice for the twins.”
“I’m absolutely convinced of the Magura MT7 brakes. Very low maintenance and endless braking power. Simply reliable!”
